Firmware 2.8.0 adds support for ELTAKO 16-series meters (DSZ16DZ and DSZ16D), which are now detected automatically via their manufacturer ID. It also introduces automated email notifications with freely configurable sending intervals. MQTT has been significantly enhanced with improved Home Assistant discovery. In addition, the update features a redesigned web interface with extended configuration options, along with numerous stability improvements for Modbus and networking.
After updating, it is mandatory to reload/refresh the ZGW web interface to ensure that all new features and changes are displayed correctly.
