With the ever changing marketplace the way Eltako products are used also is changing. We have made a number of improvements to our existing PIR's. Now as well as an ON telegram our PIR's send out an OFF telegram. In addition, we have added two internal microswitches. the first adjusts the detector sensitivity to high or low. The second switch sets the detector to Automatic (Active), so the device will switch on and off. Alternatively it can be set to Semi-Automatic (Passive), this is sometimes referred to as Absence Detection, where the lights must be switched on manually and they then turn off automatically when movement is no longer detected.
