Infinitely dimmable energy saving lamps

As a major manufacturer of dimmer switches we appreciate very much that MEGAMAN and OSRAM have introduced infinitely dimmable energy saving lamps onto the market. However, for these special energy saving lamps a minimum voltage is required to dim down to the lowest brightness level.

At our universal dimmer switches EUD12NPN, EUD12M, EUD61NPN and EUD61M the minimum brightness level (= minimum voltage) can be adjusted.
For OSRAM energy saving lamps it has to be set to the maximum value and for MEGAMAN energy saving lamps it has to be set to the lower value.

The universal dimmer switches EUD12NPN and EUD61NPN additionally offer a ESL position which considers the special conditions regarding dimmable energy saving lamps. The starting operation is optimized and the dim speed changes logarithmically.
