CmTalk Test Pages

 

This page provides the possibility to test the CmTalk environment.

The CmTalk protocol is required for the automatic transfer/update of CodeMeter licences via the Internet.

 

The first page automatically detects if JavaScript is enabled.

If JavaScript is enabled click the button to continue.

Otherwise check the JavaScript settings of the used web-browser.


 

 

This page automatically checks for the installed CmTalk object.

Choose a CmTalk object (e.g.: “ActiveX” for Internet Explorer) to continue the test.

If you want to use the Java CmTalk object (Linux, Mac, Firefox), make sure that a SUN JAVA Runtime Kit is installed. Other Java distributions are not supported!


 

 

This page checks the proxy settings of your browsers, please note the instructions on the page.

Here you can choose a CmStick for the following programming test.

Select the CmStick and click on the button to continue.


 

 

The last page lists all CmStick information such as: serial number, proxy setting, CodeMeter Trigger version and the date of the last successful test.

Click on the “Test” Button to start the programming test.

A “Notify” message now appears, to confirm that the connection to the WIBU-SYSTEMS Test CmTalk server was successfully established.

Click the “OK” button to start the online-programming.

Finally a “Notify” message appears, to confirm that the online-programming was successfully completed.

Click the “OK” button to finish the test.

 

Now the CmStick data on the CmTalk test page is updated.

 

 

If you want to delete the CmTalk test entry, just click on the “Remove Test entry” button.
