CodeMeter Runtime Server

The CodeMeter Runtime Server is installed as a service or a daemon (default) to ensure an automatic startup after a reboot.

If the CodeMeter Runtime Server is not started automatically, you can start/manage it via the CodeMeter Control Center.

Windows:

• [Start-Programs-CodeMeter-CodeMeter Control Center]

The application/process name of the CodeMeter Runtime Server on Windows is CodeMeter.exe.

Mac:

• [Applications-CodeMeter-CodeMeter Control Center]

The application/process name of the CodeMeter Runtime Server on Mac is CodeMeterMacX.

Linux:

• [Start-System-CodeMeter Control Center] or [Start-Accessories-CodeMeter Control Centre]

The application/process name of the CodeMeter Runtime Server on Linux is CodeMeterLin.

Sun Solaris:

• [/opt/CodeMeter/CodeMeterCC]

The application/process name of the CodeMeter Runtime Server on Sun Solaris is CodeMeterSunSPARC.

If you start the CodeMeter Control Center, a CodeMeter Icon is placed in the system-tray.

CodeMeter.exe can only be started one time per system!
