cmu command line tool

 

The cmu tool is the command line based alternative of the CodeMeter Control Center.

 

List of all available cmu options:

Explanation

-c<FI>

Creates a CodeMeter Remote Activation Context file for the defined firm item <FI>.

-d

Starts the CmStick firmware update.

-e<s>

Enable/disable selected CmStick where s = {1 (disable), 2 (temp. enable), 3 (enable).

-f<file>

Defines input/output file for an operation.

-h

Displays all available cmu options.

-i

Imports a CodeMeter Remote Activation Update file and reprograms the CmStick.

-k

Lists all available CodeMeter network servers.

-l

Lists all connected CmSticks (serial no. only).

-n

Lists the network license information of the local CodeMeter network server.

-p<pwd>

Specifies the password for the selected CmStick.

-r<no>

Starts a defined number <no> of random tests for the connected CmSticks.

-s<serial>

Defines which CmStick is to be used by its serial number.

-t<no>

Starts a defined number <no> of tests for the connected CmSticks.

-u

Updates the certified time of the connected CmSticks.

-v

Displays version information of all available CodeMeter basic components.

-x

Displays an extended list of all connected CmSticks (including the contents of the CmSticks).


Examples:

displays all available cmu options (help):
cmu(32) -h

creates a CodeMeter Remote Activation Contents file (here:1-1040870.WibuCmRaC) for the Firm Code 10 (FirmItem):
cmu(32) -c10 -f
1-1040870.WibuCmRaC

imports a CodeMeter Remote Activation Update file (here:1-1040870.WibuCmRaU) -> program the connected CmStick:
cmu(32) -i -f
1-1040870.WibuCmRaU
