Installation of the Runtime Kit

 

For all supported operating systems a CodeMeter Runtime Kit installer is available.
This application installs the modules of the CodeMeter Runtime Kit on the user’s machine.

 

Windows:

Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP,  Server 2003/2008

Mac OS X

Mac OS X 10.4-10.6  PowerPC and Intel based

Linux:

 Open  Suse 10x-11.X, SLES 10-11 , RHEL 4.5 -6.0,  Fedora Core 8- 14, Debian 3.1 - 6 , Ubuntu 6.06 - 10.10

Sun Solaris

Sun Solaris 10, 11 with SPARC and I386 processors

 

Windows:

For Microsoft operating systems two different installers are available:

CmRuntimeUser.exe

Installs all needed CodeMeter Runtime modules on the end user PC with English language support on Windows 32 bit systems.

CmRuntimeUser64.exe

Installs all needed CodeMeter Runtime modules on the end user PC with English language support on Windows 64 bit systems (x64 for AMD and Intel, except Intanium processors).

 

To install the CodeMeter Runtime Kit execute one of the installers above and follow the given instructions.

 

Mac:

There is one installer available for Mac OS X 10.4-10.6:

CmRuntimeUser.dmg

 

Installs all needed CodeMeter Runtime files on your Mac.

To install the CodeMeter Runtime Kit, just execute the CmRuntimeUser.dmg; select the CmInstall.mpkg utility and follow the instructions on the installer.

Linux:

There are different installer packages available for different distributions of Linux operating systems:

CodeMeter-4.30-XXX.i386.rpm

-RPM Format  (Red Hat package manager format) (for SLES Suse, REHL, FC, etc.).for 32 bit systems

CodeMeter-4.30-XXX.i386.deb

-deb Format - gcc4 based, (Debian package manager format) ( for  Debian, Ubuntu, etc.).for 32 bit systems

CodeMeter64-4.30-XXX.x86_64.rpm

-RPM Format (Red Hat package manager format) SLES Suse, RHEL Red Hat, Fedora, etc. for 64 bit systems (x64 for AMD and Intel, except Intanium processors).

To install the CodeMeter Runtime Kit, choose the correct installer package and install it on your system with the matching shell command or via the package manager:

 

Sun:

For Sun Solaris two installer packages are available:

codemeter_4.30-sol-sparc.tar.bz2

Installer for Sun Solaris 10/11 on Sparc platforms.

codemeter_4.30-sol-I386.tar.bz2

Installer for Sun Solaris 10, 11 on I386 platforms.
